Tax Consultant

Marcel Hermes primarily provides legal advice in the areas of corporate, foundation and real estate law. Another focus of his legal practice is commercial and contract law.

Mr. Hermes advises companies as well as their shareholders and executive bodies comprehensively on general corporate law and group law issues. He handles corporate and real estate transactions and assists clients in the drafting and negotiating of contracts. Due to his additional qualification as a tax consultant, he has a distinct economic understanding, which he incorporates into his advice.

Curriculum Vitae

Marcel Hermes completed a dual course study program to become a Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH) at the Hochschule für Finanzen in Nordkirchen. He then worked for more than four years in the financial administration of North Rhine-Westphalia. Simultaneously, he studied tax law on a part-time basis at the University of Münster. He concluded his tax law studies with honors.

Afterwards, Mr. Hermes studied law at the University of Bochum with a focus on civil law. Parallely, he passed the tax consultant examination. During his law studies and until his law clerckship, he worked as a tax consultant.

During his law clerkship, Mr. Hermes worked as a research assistant at Kümmerlein. His work at Kümmerlein enabled him to deepen his focus on civil law. In July 2021, he started working as a lawyer and tax consultant at Kümmerlein.

Mr. Hermes is fluent in German and English.
