TIM POTTHAST

Tim Potthast joined Kümmerlein in 2024 and works in the field of public business law. As part of his job, he advises private industries and public authorities adressing administrative, but also constitutional legal issues, especially in the field of planning and environmental law.

Curriculum Vitae

Tim Potthast studied at the Ruhr-University in Bochum. In addition to his studies, he completed a foreign language program for lawyers in English. Further, he worked as a student assistant and continued his job as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law of Prof. Dr. Adelheid Puttler, LL.M during his subsequent legal clerkship.

During his legal clerkship in Bochum, Tim Potthast worked for the Ministry of Economy in Düsseldorf, in procurement and subsidies law for a business law firm and for the Higher Administrative Court in Münster. After passing his second state exam, Tim Potthast first resumed his work as a research assistant, before he joined Kümmerlein Rechtsanwälte & Notare as a lawyer in April 2022.
